Chrissy Teigen is such a harmless person. There’s no need at all for the vitriol she inspires. I’ve seen no evidence that she’s rubbing her wealth in anyone’s face. She’s just tweeting things about her life that she finds interesting and some of those things are lavish because she happens to be very wealthy. I see

-THE PHANTOM ZONE TOOK KARA’S BANGS SO IT COULD GIVE THEM TO RANDOM IMP LADY

Good(?) to see that Frost also has the same terrible luck with men that her sister does.  I also got a big laugh out of the mean inspector lady commenting on how many points of commonality there were between Caitlin and Frost’s faces.  As Oliver said, wear a mask.

Worth noting that Supergirl meeting her dad in the Phantom Zone is also a plot point in the (pretty bad) 1984 Supergirl movie. Interesting little nod there.

I had forgotten originally, but Brainy was there in the basement lair in the first place to inject the ALE into the computer.

I honestly enjoyed this more than the new episodes of The Flash this year. Yes it’s carrying on the convoluted plot points of season 5 and doesn’t really offer any guidance as to how season 6 will play out, but there’s an energy and life to the characters that I find The Flash has stopped offering. This year will

I’m crossing my fingers for the flashback teen Danvers sisters during one of Benoist’s pregnancy episodes. IDK if they’re coming back but we’re looking at a worrisome stretch without the show’s most important dynamic.

The Danvers sisters moment was nice. We need more of them. Their relationship was really sidelined last season.

William and Andrea don’t need to be regulars. The cast was already big when they joined and they don’t add anything to the show.

There is apparently going to be a two part flashback episode later this season (another good way to give Melissa Benoist some time off). It has been spoiled that a younger version of Cat Grant will appear and visit Midvale.

It’s funny, I figured Kara’s sacrifice play was a deliberate rope-a-dope that the team was in on, hence their nonchalance. I guess it wasn’t since Kara was saved by the protocols that Lena enacted on the fly right before she left.

An Israeli moving into someone else’s space without permission? Surely you jest.

I, for one, enjoyed Allegra being promoted to “staff writer” at a two-person news operation. I can only imagine what Iris’s paper looks like. She doesn’t go out reporting, we never see her doing any kind of journalism (leg work, phone calls, internet research), so what does the website publish? I guess she’s as useful

All these people out in Star City figured out their loved ones weren’t really themselves in a matter of hours, yet it took Team Flash WEEKS to realize the same had been done to Iris. How embarrassing...

Hell, even in The Dark Knight, people turn out to be generally decent, much to the Joker’s dismay.

Or you could just watch those movies, there’s a lot of humor sprinkled through out the Dark Knight trilogy as a palette cleanser for its darker, more serious moments. It’s hardly the constant gloom its imitators would have you think.

After years of trying to shake the idea that their characters were antiquated throwbacks (see the 1990s-2000s), DC Comics finally began to embrace the fun aspects of its Silver Age stories (Batman Brave and the Bold, New Frontier, CW’s The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, etc). What’s surprising about Zack Snyder’s

I’m now pushing for the Snyder’s Of Hanover Cut, where Henry Cavill’s moustache footage from the Whedon version is now reinserted, but he’s constantly eating pretzels so you can’t see it.

Zach Snyder’s entire career can be summed up like this:

My one hope for all of this: I never have to hear about the fucking Snyder Cut again. I generally try not to yuck other people’s yum. I get that Snyder’s style is not appealing to me and that’s fine. Enjoy what you enjoy.

But damnit I am tired of hearing about this fucking thing.
