>> Autistic people should have the same professional opportunities as anyone else. Obviously. But there are other factors at play that go into casting someone.

Cool. I have a friend with mental illness who has asked me to stop using that term. I’m sure some people like you are cool with it, but there are other people who aren’t.

There’s Hillbilly Elegy, the memoir of Vance’s family, which (so far as I know, at least) is basically uncontested in terms of its accuracy. And then there’s Hillbilly Elegy, the socio-economic, political and cultural text that’s used to advance a very specific and very damaging political agenda. I don’t know to what

-The Lady of the Lake doll was just a doll to signify where she was, just like with all the other dolls. The little ghost kid was moving them around the dollhouse to indicate where everyone was. If the Lady of the Lake doll was beneath the dresser (?), then she was in teh lake.

I think Rebecca did this as a mercy to Flora. She remembers what it was like to die in the lake because Peter left her body when it happened. But here Rebecca’s saying she’ll tuck Flora away and feel it for her so the kid doesn’t have to experience her own death.

I’ve been enjoying these reviews so far and there’s plenty of good observation in them, but I could not disagree more with that paragraph about Jamie and Dani. it’s a gorgeously rendered romance, my favourite on TV in a long long time, and there is clear chemistry between the actors. (we really didn’t need Carla

I’m sure we’ll never know the specifics, but it’s likely some combination of:

I’m really disappointed that they changed this to give Mulan special powers. One of the things I really liked in the original is that she becomes good by working really hard and by being clever, not by being born with special abilities. Chosen one stories have their place, but I like seeing emphasis put sometimes on

“A few years ago, this U.S./China co-production might’ve been the victim of Hollywood whitewashing (see: The Great Wall),”

Has there ever been a bad time loop story?

timey-wimey, wibbly-wobbly

Unfortunately, because they actually put a time limit on this time loop, there was not enough time for Daisy to go golfing through the Stargate.

“Phlebotinum” is a term invented in the Buffy writers room by David Greenwalt. So, this is a Whedon family callback.

Agent Here we Go Again (as in the LoT ep you failed to mention in best time loop episodes!!!!)

I’m sorry but I just don’t see how a story written by Frank Miller would understand that strange women, lying in ponds, and distributing swords is not the basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power comes from the mandate of the masses. Not some farcical aquatic ceremony. You can’t claim to wield supreme

I don’t think it’s even knowing what comic book fans think of Miller, but rather just reading his work, especially recent.
