Missed opportunity: not calling the mush Gruel of the Fates.

I think she meant you fight for that edge, not that there’s two percent that’s remaining. But this is a funny interpretation.
One continuity error I noticed in this episode:
Fantastic ep and season. My only complaint is the lack of a full season Ray.
Hard disagree, the first season was an incredibly insular story about Kate and her family — something people at the time noted was a detriment to the show. By putting a new character at the center of the show you’re throwing all that out. They’d honestly be better off relaunching the show under a new name f this is…
We at the network want a Batwoman with brattitude. She’s geeky, she’s “on main.” You’ve heard the expression, “adorkable”? Well, this is a Batwoman who gets “nerdelicious!” Consistently and thoroughly.
I can’t say I’m a fan of this move. Creating a new character, whether whole-cloth or based on a comics character, seems much more painstaking and liable for failure versus just recasting Kate Kane. It’s not like Ruby Rose’s performance was that indelible.
Excellent review!
Based on what I’ve seen so far, there’s a reason Pat never upgraded to full hero.
Putting Zari II in a room with Tahani....the snark would be palpable.
Pretty much half the Legends’ plans are the equivalent of throwing a Molotov cocktail while screaming, “BORTLES!”, anyway.
Thank Beebo the season finished shooting earlier this year. Can you imagine if this was our unexpected season finale?
I know they didn’t intend that as a season finale, but damn if that last season isn’t a perfect cliffhanger. Though that being said, all the angst over the “last shard of Kryptonite” is kiiind of of undercut by the metric ton of the stuff they threw around on Supergirl last week.
I blame Geoff “Hey, what if Barry Allen’s dad was framed for killing his own wife?” Johns. For decades he’s had an upbeat, “heroes should be inspiring and hopeful” sensibility that he cuts with Superboy-Prime ripping the limbs off former Titans and Black Adam poking Psycho-Pirate’s eyes out.
Also jives with the fact that Luke Wilson is probably the most expensive actor on the show so making him a guest star in a coma saves them money
I nearly freaked out and split apart like Iris listening to the Spanish-language dialogue; it’s so work-formal it literally takes me out of every scene with them.
Also, for a split-second I was hoping that when Cecile said, “We’ve got reinforcements,” we’d get a reveal of Black Lightning or Gambi walking in along with…
And it pisses me off. The LoT/Arrow ratio in Flash should be 80/20 at least.
I suspect both Emily Bett Rickards and Candice Patton have been frustrated by playing characters with limited storylines while receiving lots of flack from asshole fans
It’s probably “complete failure to write sufficiently interesting material for love interests”...
