It's a difficult situation sort of naturally born from the fact that he is simultaneously her boss and surrogate father figure. As her boss it's an understandable and even necessary move (although he should have foreseen that she would go rogue). As her dad…it's pretty shitty.

Yeah there's no real reason for the parents to go to trial. I suppose they would have lost money on the already fertilized egg, but legal fees are nothing to sneeze at either. As far as we know there was nothing wrong with the father's sperm, so fertilizing another egg shouldn't be impossible. I've also read that

Robinette's in the actual pilot (so, second episode)—the defense attorney in the backdoor is played by Bradley Whitford (which really doesn't do the "I'm only capable of one facial expression" prosecutor any favors).

They do need to even out the angst/violence to joy ratio a bit. Luna and Raven talk about how there's still good in the world—specifically innocent kids worth protecting. But as viewers we never get to see that. All we get to see is endless bloodshed and political backstabbing. The show needs just a bit more light to

She got Kendra's old job at Jitters. Whenever they're having a a high volume day and she's struggling to keep up, she reminds everyone that just a few weeks ago, she was only an assassin.

Gypsy would be great! Plus I've liked the actress since Last Resort, a show I'm pretty sure no one else on the planet actually watched.

Oh man I would love if they added Big Barda. But I'm betting WB wants to save anything remotely Fourth World-y for the films. And after the Wonder Woman pilot and Marvel's Most Wanted, I'm wondering if Palicki might be feeling a little burned by superhero shows.

Now I'm wondering who they could slot in.

My favorite thing is that a superhero so closely associated with America (literally the Star-Spangled Kid) instead ends up founding a pretty significant part of England's folkloric history.

Oh man I didn't even think of that.

I really wish he'd just led with "I need you to cover for me while I'm on Earth-2" instead of the overprotective dad stuff again.

I really did think the conflict was going to be that she wanted to ask Wally to move to Earth-2 with her, but once she realized he has powers now, she became concerned that he wouldn't want to abandon the people he's protecting or his new Kid Flash life.

I think I might disagree on the "not too clingy" part—especially after this episode.

Well their All Access Originals library is currently this and Big Brother: Over the Top.

Did you, like, miss the whole thing last year (and all the years before that) where all the happy lesbian couples were broken up by at least one of them being violently murdered? Alex and Maggie is definitely the exception here.

At that point Metallo and Henshaw were already in the process of breaking her out so she probably didn't even see herself as truly imprisoned anymore.

Because the plot needed Lillian to escape. Kara's faster than a speeding bullet and has X-ray vision. Realistically, no one should ever be able to get away from her (same goes for Barry, really).

That plus the commercial made me realize that Supergirl/Flash et. al. could conceivably cross over with the Lego Batman Universe wayyy easier than it could with the actual mainline films.

I was honestly worried for the goober when he was missing which is way more than I could say about him last season.
