My take was when the Yeerk first merged with him, they were a little confused and just lashed out in self-defense (the thing had just come out of a wolf that some "Stone Age Viking" had shot, remember). Then it got a grip on things and the scientist's motivations started to come through more.

I feel like she probably should have been a little quicker on the uptake about just how bad Alex was crushing on her.

So far the second season of Legends has shed a lot of dead weight and at least made an effort toward embracing the fun. I'm not sure I'd call it good, exactly—it's definitely not smart—but I'm really enjoying it anyway.

It seems to be more common with shows about teenagers (Glee, Pretty Little Liars, Faking It, etc). It's a lot rarer with adult characters.

J'onn as a character only really works if you accept that 75% of the time he straight up forgets most of his superpowers.

I mean TECHNICALLY it's slightly less creepy with Supergirl cause I think Kara was slightly older when she met Alex than Barry was when he met Iris.

They had Gordon over on Agents of Shield with a similar getup (though only for the eyes). With him it seemed like they had a prosthetic with eye holes, then CGIed the holes away. I guess it would be a bit more difficult with the mouth and nose.

My memory is foggy on how Arrow did it, but in the comics Yamashiro was her husband's name (and the sword was originally his brother's) making them technically Maseo's ancestors.

Considering Prometheus is running around, I'm actually kind of hoping no.

Yeah, but in TV land a broken limb means the character has to be in a cast for, like, at least a whole episode.

I mean, they do call it the disease of kings…and Queens.

Prometheus, definitely.
Tron: Legacy to a lesser extent.
I also remember liking the Man of Steel trailer, but I don't know if that's because it was good trailer or just because I had no idea yet how grimdark the Snyderverse was gonna be.
