I was really surprised when I saw the Amy special because this joke came on at the beginning and it is such a TRADEMARK Wendy Liebman joke. One doesn’t have to go to the Ziggy archive to figure that one out. But then seeing the Patrice JOKES (not joke) in the same special...It confirms what I always felt about her.…

I wish it were that simple and ‘general’ but from the video evidence it was whole joke ideas completely lifted. Especially that ‘slap chef’ thing.

Considering that she ran in the same circles as Patrice, it’d be hard to explain this away. Her explanation on the Norton show was basically “I’d never do that to Patrice.” Really... well, let’s go to the videotape.

Thank you for posting this. Aisha Tyler mentioned this today on The Talk about how she basically took Patrice’s material almost word for word. She was careful not to say that Amy stole it-but it appears that she didn’t change much of the material at all.
