You Boston sports fan honks are fucking insufferable, and I know because I’m from Boston.

It is not legal to tape the opposing coaches’ signals. It is not legal now, nor was it legal then. It is not legal with a fox, nor is it legal with a lox. It is not about where the cameraman stands, it is about what is being taped. Coach’s signals cannot be videotaped.
Ah...Patriots fans will rationalize anything in the name of winning. Sad, really.
Also, “stealing” playbooks is such harsh language. It’s really just “acquiring without consent.”
Pertinent info to follow:
Thanks for stopping by, Bill.
If it was legal, then why did Pats employees disguise themselves as NFL Films reps? Just for fun?
Good point. I’m sure the NFL allowed a scandal to fester for years just because they didn’t know their own rule book.
It was not legal,
Was stealing playsheets and rummaging hotel rooms for playbooks also allowed before 2007? I’m uncertain, enlighten me.
The bombshell doesn’t exactly make Goodell look good here.
One kid going out of his way to ambush an official is one thing. Two of them doing at once tells me this was ordered from the sidelines. If that’s true, end their season right now and fire the staff.
Seriously. I don’t hear. And I tried listening without watching the video.
Good job posting a video that doesn’t show the content referenced in the article. Just post a music video or something next time.
if you play the audio backwards you can hear tom brady saying, i did it and fuck you roger
Man, I don’t know how college and pro refs handle the abuse from the coaches. It’s out of control. I officiated in high school many years. If a coach stepped out of line with any of our refs, they knew they were going t0 get flagged every time. Do it twice, your ejected. Cuss at a ref even once, and you’re ejected.…
This comment is emblematic of Houston’s rampant inferiority complex when it comes to both the city of Dallas, and the Dallas Cowboys, as a whole. I lived in Houston for two years, and I can’t tell you the number of people that I encountered with an eternal hate hard-on for Dallas & it’s sports teams (they also love to…
C’mon don’t be so tough on yourselves. Yeah the weather sucks there (it really sucks), but I usually find I like people from Houston. Dallas people? Well how should I say this, they are a little too uptight. Basically they are almost singlehandedly responsible for all of the bad Texan stereotypes out there. As with…
But... what’s the alternative there?
Peyton Manning was, like, 16 when Philip Rivers was 10.
