@geekymitch: CR took Apple's word that it was a software issue and would be fixed quickly. They did know about the reception issue, but did not look deep into it.

Yeah, its very contradicting to change your opinion based on new and more detailed evidence.

@geekymitch: they did test it, but they test products in the short term and long term. What use is an initial iphone 4 review in 6 months to their readers?

$250? lol.

uhh... or go to a dollar store and buy a cheap camera bag? This is what China is for.

Looks just like Opera to me.

@trs: Apple innovates by 'perfecting' for the mass market. Early adopters will never be impressed by Apple's hardware.

@Realityism: Are we pretty sure Apple treated Giz like the press in the past? Sounds like it.

@Piledriver: My 3G is running quite well with redsn0w JB. NuevoLeon agrees it seems.

@Brant Isaak Brooks: I JB'ed my 3G using Redsn0w. Fresh install, did not restore anything. Multitasking and background wallpaper enabled. It runs just fine.

My 3G is performing MUCH better with v4 than it was with the latest v3.

" I'm finding that I end up carrying my iPad around the house a lot while listening to music on it via headphones—something my MacBook's too big for, and something that feels weird to do with an MP3 player"

@mszulman: Its usually better to setup the phone again anyway. My 3G has been wonky for a while and Im hoping a fresh setup will give it a new lease on life for the summer.

Nothing impressed me in iOS4 and we already saw the hardware, somewhere, so I am still waiting for the EVO in Canada (useless since there is no 4G carriers yet)
