Two things, one I am not at all knowledgeable about the Smash Bros scene, in fact I’ve never even played ANY of the games.

Second, I am NOT trying to victim blame or even try and hint at victim blaming. Not at all. I am asking what I am asking our of curiosity about this situation:

“Jacqueline “Jisu” Choe, a popular

Yep. And the one player they consistently interacted with (Nairo) is one of the alleged. They’re never dipping their toe in this shithole again.

Somehow they thought Nintendo’s support was possible even before now, despite how toxic the community already was.

Furthermore, imagine if the guy announcing every other championship or iconic moment also got outed as a rapist.

Also the “why won’t Nintendo support us” crowd finally has the loudest and clearest answer imaginable.

Just to put this in perspective for folks who haven’t been covering this: imagine if just before going into the NBA playoffs we learned that 4 out of 5 starters on every single team entering the playoffs had abused minors, as well as 100% of the coaching staff.

Between this, She-Ra, Kipo and Twelve Forever, it feels to me that Netflix is doing a better job with children’s programming than Disney. Netflix just isn’t afraid to offer more than lip service to feminism and queer positivity. It’s really heartening to see; watching these shows has been a balm even at my age.

Ask your Mom for more allowance.

I was not aware that Nintendo owns Facebook... I guess you learn something new every day! 🤔

TFW you want to monetize a culture, but don’t want the baggage that comes with it.

I’m pretty sure he thinks homonyms are a threat to the institution of marriage.

Thank God we dodged that bullet and never had an idiot for a president.

Let’s be clear about who the spoiler is: Sarah Palin. It’s Sarah Palin.

I also have a friend with that , and having played steel battalion on a giant projected screen while using it , I can vouch for it being both ridiculous and awesome.

I was really expecting that giant controller to be for Panzer Dragoon, to give the feeling of riding and steering a dragon.

Nah, it’s in a bunch of the stories, sadly. Read the description of the first reanimated corpse in Herbert West––Reanimator for the most explicit version.

Reread The Call of Cthulu and pay attention to his descriptions of people, you’ll notice that it’s not as separate from his writings as you think.

You’re right, but the fundamental problem is that investors and stakeholders are whiny little children who can’t take no for an answer.
Crunch time costs money. It costs a LOT of money. Working people longer and longer results in a massive loss on return since the longer you work the lower the quality of that work.

I’m not really sure it’s about us being impatient. I’m sure it’s more about higher ups and shareholders being impatient.

The longer a game is in development, the longer it’s not making money, and the more money it’s costing.

Capitalism ain’t all that great.

Where I work Crunch is treated exactly as that, failure on the part of management, and that’s who sees repercussions for crunch. Because of this, crunch almost never happens, because crunch means managers losing jobs. Crunch is wasted money in more than one way.
