Ann Coulter’s “hot take” on Rubio, while not supporting happiness and joy is the most Ann Coulter thing she could have said for the upcoming holidays.

I didn’t know that, I have no idea who this person is, and am sorry I came off all flippant. But even so...I would understand if the affirmation is “I will have kids”... not “I want to have kids”
Now, I feel bad. Thanks for the more compassionate response.
I would suspect the less snarky answer may have something to do with the rounds of radiation and chemo she went through a few years back, along with what she’s got to compensate for nowadays with not having a thyroid.
“Unless I’m missing something...” Well, there’s the understatement of the year. Since not every drop of drinking water coming out of the fountain is likely to go directly down someone’s throat, there would need to be a drain built into it, wouldn’t there? Ugh, I obviously need a couple days off.
It’s almost certainly rising up out of the drain, for all the reasons you describe.
Comes out the the drain in the drinking fountain.
You mean when he learned the pain and pressure of being an UGLY woman, first and foremost. The respect part was an afterthought.
Tbh, if Dolly Parton is a predator, just don’t tell me. I couldn’t take it.
After Tootsie in 1987 Dustin Hoffman finally understood that even ugly women exist to be sexually assaulted by Dustin Hoffman.
That can’t be true about Hoffman since 1987 is after Tootsie came out. You know when he learned all the pain and pressure being a woman entailed and decided they were worthy of respect?
A Senate seat which he himself caused to become vacant! Is this the winning he was schreeching on about?
It’s actually quite remarkable: he managed to endorse two losing candidates for the same Senate seat!
I was addressing the author, not Salma.
If you read her whole op-ed you will see she mentions how perhaps her friendships with other powerful men like George Clooney prevented Harvey from actually raping her— acknowledging the (little bit) power she did have in the situation. She’s not lumping herself in with the women who had no power with Harvey.
I agree. Even when she left Mexico she was in demand and super recognizable.
“...Hayek, as a then-struggling Mexican actress” Right. Hayek has never struggled. She came from a wealthy family and by the time she made Frida, already had double digit films under her belt. Saying she was a “struggling actress” lumps her into the group of all the other women who have zero power in this situation.…
I am Mexican and remember being excited when I heard about this project but was disappointed when I heard about the naked scene and decided to skip it.
it just makes me sad that he didn’t win by a 100% margin.
If you look towards DC from anywhere in the country, you can probably see the red glow from the explosion that just happened in the White House.
