I’ve tried these alerts multiple times and they really are not reliable. Better to use other tools really.

Crazy, I was up at those times last night and even checked my emails in case Amazon and/or Best Buy sends those Pre-order alerts. Nope. What’s the point of signing up if they aren’t sending alerts?

yeah I don’t know, I feel like that one didn’t happen. this is also the only outlet reporting Amazon presales from what I’ve seen.

My understanding is that they opened up an entirely new page and had it under “digital downloads,” which is why no one got an alert. The scuttlebutt is that it was a legit listing and they did it to throw off bots according to accounts from people saying they talked to amazon staff, but who knows. We’ll find out if…

It really depends on how they do it. If they try to make me pay $15 for something the day of release they can go take a hike. I’m more than happy to spend that same $15 on actual additional content 2 or 3 months down the line though.
