It doesn’t take a PR person to keep you from outright lying to your customers. Any decent developer already knows that.

Do you know how many games I have bought due to me being able to see a real person play a game I’m interested in but on the fence about due to the lack of good content to make a sound personal judgement? It’s a lot.

I really liked his doctor, he came across as damaged and kind of tragic. Then we had Tennent who ran around like a mad man with bugged out eyes. Tennent’s an excellent actor and some of the more serious episodes were very good but holy hell, calm the f*ck down already.

So, when you’re stoned out of your mind, it’s enjoyable? Makes sense. You have to figure that’s what the people had to have been who marketed it.

What if the game in question was hyped as being so huge as to be near infinite? If you’re intent on giving it a fair shot 50 hours isn’t a lot to realize the game isn’t what it was supposed to be and that you’re not going to come around to enjoying it.

If it takes me 25+ hours to get it playable post release because of crashing and another 20 to figure out all of the main features were lies? Shouldn’t I at least get a refund for what should be a lawsuit for fraud?

It’s totally ridiculous. The game remains an unoptimized mess and hasn’t seen an official release, how do they think it’s appropriate to be release DLC?

The portals lead to a better game unfortunately they don’t work so you have to use the other portal also known as the power switch to get to a better game.

I can imagine it. I bet there is in game code for multiplayer too, but...

Hello Games promised a lot of things that didn’t end up being in the game. This could just be another one.

Oh but your paying for the experience guys! It’s such a great experience and everybody complaining about the lack of content just doesn’t get it! It’s such a unique indie experience it really is!

This assumes they actually serve a purpose. Seeing that 99% of the things in this game don't, I think it's a safe guess to assume they're working as intended (by having no function).

The only thing funnier than all the anger over this game are the people who still have not realized that it is an early access game sold at full AAA retail price.

The dumb, misleading (if not totally wrong) title suggests that there was a less obvious reason than that
