The dumb, misleading (if not totally wrong) title suggests that there was a less obvious reason than that

So if he threw a duffelbag full of drugs and guns out the window, isn’t that probable cause for the DEA to raid his house?
Just look at the artwork on the back cover. I never saw any walking robots of any kind.
But what if you buy it and have to wait over 14 days to be able to get it past the startup screen?
You’ll excuse me if I think that’s complete bullshit. It’s not a bug, it’s another lie.
Sure, no one made people buy it immediately, but that shouldn’t act as a shield for devs to claim whatever they want. And in the end reviews are still the opinions of the individuals giving them.
The impression I got from the trailer was that
In a case of false advertisement, I don’t really feel a whole amount of pity towards the developers. You can argue about ‘what’s on the box’ all you want, but it doesn’t change that they had trailers on the steam storefront showing things that don’t actually exist in the game.
We were told it was a game with more planets than we could ever hope to see. And on that they delivered.
They never really confirmed any of the hype but they also didnt deny any of it (or much of it at least). The more I think about it, the more mildly dishonest it seems. I mean, the fans did almost all of the legwork in getting the hype train rolling but I think Sony and Hello Games should have enough common sense…
I actually regret keeping this game the more I play it. It’s just not very good, even when it does work. There’s very little to do, it’s missing a ton of features that were promised by Murray at one point or another, some within the past 6 months. Then after all the work you put into it the “ending” is so…
Hype does that - then there are the developers that take advantage of the hype.
I only minimally disagree with the original statement.
Are you kidding me? The dev even went on Colbert’s show to lie about online capabilities.
Got it on release day and was having fun exploring the planet I started in. I spent all my time there upgrading my ship, gun, bag space as well as learning 80% of the whatever language they spoke on that planet. After reading that you’d be doing that same thing on just about every planet, I quickly sold the game on…
People are inhuman for getting a refund? The hell?
On the one hand, anybody who played more than 10 hours and didn’t realize what’s up only has themselves to blame here. This game revealed everything it has to offer within the first hour.
I never really played FF games, nor do I care much about the next one. However I really have to point out how great it is that they’re saying this beforehand.
You’ll be given a tube you have to spit and shit in to provide a saliva and stool sample to confirm your identity.
the amount of apologetic articles appearing about this fucking game is worse than the tedium of playing it
