@JDickson87: Which begs the question... Why don't they just charge $10/GB with no cap?

iPhone 4 4G on Verizon? Just in time, no?

One thing to note is that UNIX can't execute shell scripts on a FAT/FAT32/NTFS drive since you can't apply execute permissions to them. HFS/ext3/ext4 would be the best choice for storing documents if you need to do this!

@scoobertron: With minimal effort, both Linux and OSX can read/write to NTFS as well. I would definitely recommend that option for integrity.

@triggerx: Problem is, most people use VERY little internet. If everyone like your dad switched to a $10 plan, they would lose most of their profits. The logical solution would be for ISPs to make $50 the base and tier up from there.

@Weakskills: I don't think they can.... I've been begging them for their service in my city, but apparently Comcast and AT&T have some sort of exclusivity. My friend has it less than a mile from me, but only because he's technically out of city limits.

@jmd1513: 3000 FREE HOURS FOR A MONTH THAT ONLY CONTAINS 700!

Just another step toward information control. Seriously... this shit works AS-IS. Leave it alone.

@chuck07: Or.... you could just pay for internet.

@AreWeThereYeti: Ah, gotcha. I could see how they would be frustrating if they refused to work :-)

@DustyButt: Except I'm willing to bet that video encoding is not a multi-core process. :-/ Dual-core is nice for not tanking the rest of the phone when one process is busy, but I don't think you'll really see a difference in video encoding between single- and dual-core variants.

@Lactose_The_Intolerant: Two of the best phones I've ever used/owned—the VX6000 and the VX9800—are LG phones, but I can't help but agree with you here. Seems like the Android front isn't for them.

@AreWeThereYeti: Why are capacitive buttons bad?? I HAAAATE the true buttons the Droid X after using my Droid 1. Using the screen is so elegant, I feel like the SNICKY SNICKY of the back button wakes me from a dream every time I press it.

Holy hell, does that really say that the tree in New York uses 1.3 MEGAWATT hours of power in a day? 54 Kw continuous? That's just absurd!

@d00d123: Strangely true with all this human genome stuph going on...

This looks like too much exercise!

@DeadWriter: Also, rolling the pencil leads in tape at one end until they fit perfectly into a pen.... they ended up being pretty heavy and packed quite a punch!

@Arken: Asking how to use a not:tag isn't whining, but thanks for being so understanding about it...

@ttech10: Yep, just accidentally drove 30 miles in a carpool lane thinking it was a weekend!
