Problem is, Trump has plenty of followers who can donate that to his cause. It’s not just red state rubes that love him. There are plenty of obscenely rich donors who support him, too. Are the rubes tapped out financially? Possibly, or likely to be fairly soon. Let’s be honest, the rubes have been donating since

Because they don’t!

The punitive damages aren’t on her or her lawyers for asking for too much. They simply asked the question “How much will it take to make Trump stop?” ... the jury decided THAT number was $65 million.

Most decent people don’t take kindly to unrepentant criminals. All Trump had to do was shut up. FAFO

I think there’s already another lawsuit in progress for him continuing to slander her after the first verdict.

Well, that’s awesome! Thanks much for the info!

“Mr. Trump just rose and walked out of the courtroom,” Judge Kaplan said.

I LOVE this, but seriously, when in the living hell will be finally be forced to pay any of these judgements? Is this rotten POS just going to perpetually appeal this? Where is that limit court-wise. Send in vans of agents and start seizing EVERYTHING! And maybe start with Mar-A-Lardo, because that’s his main criminal

What happens when he defames her again tonight on Truth Social?

A political party with a recent storied history of financial malfeasance is now the sugar daddy for a man who is also well-known for his financial malfeasance. What could possibly go wrong?!

So... he either pays up, or has to disclose that he’s not really worth the millions he claims to be?

LOL. Now we get to see if Donnie can squeeze a cool $83.3 million out of deluded followers who’ve already given him their pensions and house payments to cover his legal fees. Good luck, dipshit.

Trump’s attorneys need to be referred to the bar for disciplinary action. It’s one thing for Trump to do theatrics—he’s a clown and his lawyers can’t really *control* him—but the attorneys are officers of the court, presumably seasoned trial lawyers, and for sure know better than to be making downright impermissible

So, women GOP voters of Wisconsin Sturgeon Bay - District 1, this is what your elected representative thinks of you. We’ll see if that changes anyone’s behavior at the voting box, but sadly I think it won’t because GOP voters have already made up their minds to follow the party off a cliff out of fear and bigotry.

Yes and yes and yes. Because this is the greatest problem facing Tennessee.

Jesus Christ. Imagine if these assholes put anywhere near this kind of effort into doing something good-hearted and productive. We’d probably have perfect desalination technology and the goddamned food replicator from Star Trek by now. Or...considering the IQ levels involved here, never mind.

Lawsuits aimed at the politicians who voted for this may be a better way to go.  Particularly if women and/or pregnant persons die or end up unable to have children because of these laws.  The best way to hit them may be in their wallets, because the situation now is so dangerous, that people will die or end up

Perhaps a few lawsuits on these judges and politicians, who make these “impossible to fit into” their vague and narrow exceptions rule. Attempted or pre-meditated murder and some wrongful death cases be charged against them for their cruel and unusual punishment against women, for daring to have sex, even if married.

I bet North Dakota already had a problem hiring enough doctors.

Well, I mean the very easy Step 1 would be to not nag a kid about ice cream and sweets.
