I was a library page for 6 years and people reshelving their own stuff drove me nuts. I was always fixing it.

Kotaku comments are an exception because the people here are awesome.

I loved going in Mandarake while I was there. Even if you weren't buying anything, it was like walking through a museum. A very cramped museum, but there was so much stuff to see, old and new.

They're made in Japan, so for them to mass produce these they cannot be steel. Because nihonto are all considered national treasures, the government limits the number of swords a smith can make a year, also they must have proper papers or they'll be confiscated by the government.

Steiff is a really old company in Germany that produces mostly hand-made stuffed animals using actual fur and they're supposed to be very sturdy. They're really expensive.

My first thought was "Cute!" then I saw the price and thought "WHAT!?" Then I saw that it's by Steiff and that explained everything.
