I used to believe the Right was a bunch of paranoid loons when they yelled ‘they want to take our guns’. But clearly that is what some on the Left actually do want. “Time to kick the Second Amendment into the dust bin of history”

A shoplifter with a knife can kill someone just as well as a car-thief with a knife. To reiterate, he was shot because he refused to put down a knife, not because he was shoplifting.
“They had him trapped in a bathroom and were “afraid” of a knife?”
““Whiteness” isn’t real.”
“ all the decades of hiring and wage discrimination.”
Take a moral stand against Amazon.... by pirating audio books?
“Herd told the Times that Bumble also eventually would like to phase out the mere mention of guns from written content on the app.”
But that would just make it even more pointless. All those potential dates will still have guns. All this does is hide them from you until after you go on a date and see them in person. Seems counterproductive.
Ah, yes, the ‘My group is more oppressed than yours’ retort.
No more toxic than the Kinja comment section. I get insults like those on a regular basis.
Yea, the whole consent education to combat rape has always been ridiculous.
You make a good point, though one that is hard to accept for most people.
LOL. You are completely off base.
What are you talking about? What group promotes hate and death? And what groups was I equating? Liberals and Conservatives? I was not equating them. I was saying it doesn’t matter who was ‘more’ wrong because you are responsible for your own actions, and ‘but they did worse’ is not a valid defense.
While I agree companies that ‘stick their neck out’ for contentious groups have always risked backlash, it is the innocuousness nature of Delta’s relationship with the NRA that makes this somewhat significant. It wasn’t political support, it was purely a marketing/sales thing.
You are confusing two separate things.
“But I think you are personally feeling attacked and perhaps have no center in yourself to not care? “
They are specifically quoted as saying they are neutral, and didn’t want to be seen as endorsing the NRA. (which given the vitriol directed at them...)
“I don’t understand this question. “
