This. The physical object can add a texture to the photos. It grounds them in reality. I don’t scrap book, but my girlfriend has made a couple truly incredible shadowboxes.

I mostly agree. There are some categories that I generally respect (e.g. the nominees for Oscars best director are almost always defensible, but it is only directors voting, so that makes sense), but as a rule, I’m with you.

The movie was way better than the book. Reading a book about pop culture cameos is bland and trying. Watching a movie based on them? While certainly not mentally stimulating, 90 something minutes of Easter egg hunting never hurt anyone.
