“At least it’s one of the few superhero movies that doesn’t end with a bunch of cgi heroes looking at a big beam of blue light.”

FAR more people watch Thursday Night Football than watch either LCS.

The movie was way better than the book. Reading a book about pop culture cameos is bland and trying. Watching a movie based on them? While certainly not mentally stimulating, 90 something minutes of Easter egg hunting never hurt anyone.

This looks like the USOC Board choosing a fall guy.

Last of the Mohicans. As far as scores go, it’s the G.O.A.T.

Both of you STOP. Have some pride.

I’d so much prefer having them charge more for the game. $70 for RDR2 wouldn’t phase me. Hell, $80 would be fine.

Sorry, but I kind of love this. Getting overruled like that, and still being part of the posse, makes you be part of something you didn’t want to be a part of? That. is. AWESOME. What a badass in-game dynamic.

It says something about the commenters on several other Gawker sites that it really took me a while to be sure you were joking. I’m up to 99%.

I kinda disagree. I mean, I’m vehemently anti-Trump, but this seems to be pretty good trolling to me. He probably has more angry responses than words used. Pretty darn efficient.

Simmer down, pot roast. Many people describe Celiac as a “gluten allergy”. It’s easier than explaining the nature of an autoimmune disease.

Funnily, even *that* isn’t true. He only made JV as a freshman at first. His tribulation was not immediately making varsity as a freshman.

You’re right. I’ll try and do better.

Liddell looked like a walking corpse long before he was even forced to retire. Even Dana—doing the right thing for once—tried to stop him from continuing for several fights before the end, with Chuck threatening to switch promotions.

There are interesting, valid arguments about which conference is the second craziest about football.

Should Simmons even still be on here? He’s basically stopped writing, and his TV show got cancelled. So he has a harmless podcast, and a site that gave us Binge Mode, for which we should all be grateful.

Great comment. Thanks for sharing your experiences and reasonable opinions.

I feel like she totally bounced back in looks. There was that post-Honey (the song, not the Jessica Alba movie) phase where she was looking too plastic-y. Trying too hard to keep the young look, not that I blame her, given the industry at the time (and now, but especially at the time).

Friendly reminder that we do *NOT* know whether the Kap thing worked for Nike yet. We *CAN NOT* know this until they release results for the latest fiscal quarter.

I think BP was a good story with a good villain and GREAT world-building. It was also, possibly, the least funny Marvel film to date. You have to go pretty far back to find ones that are even close. The Dark World, maybe?
