Totally agree with you. I’m not the stodgy, anti-fun Boomer type (pay the players! TD celebrations: more the merrier!), but this creates bad incentives. It encourages the returner to not protect himself, and it gives the coverage team a reason to be less trusting & more punishing. All for a fluky play every couple

As a non-New Yorker, the amount of coverage this race got was hilarious. I don’t believe there was a single poll in which she was within 20 points of Cuomo.

So much of MMA is based on jujitsu and the culture around it that I think that’s where the dollars will tend to flow. It’s naturally got a bigger audience, and one that encompasses virtually all of those searching for a story based solely on BJJ. There are a bunch of crappy MMA-based combat movies, but recent good

I thought it was really funny. Now, dark comedies might be the genre I enjoy the most consistently, so I’m hardly a tough sell, but I laughed out loud a few times per episode. My girlfriend and I both enjoyed it.

I was already laughing at the story, but your comment pushed me into tears.

I don’t recall him ever winning a title. Always rooted for him; incredible balance, and an exciting fighter. Watching the video with no context, apparently he might not be the nicest guy.

I’m always surprised by what looks great on the TV, and what only looks great on the handheld. Mario Kart is fine in hand, but gorgeous on a big screen, but then BoTW looks dazzling in hand, but like absolute garbage when full-sized.

My mouth just filled up with saliva.

I spent a few days there when I was like 16. Just walking around, seeing this incredible city, and drinking delicious, nearly-free beer. That was nearly 20 years ago, but (if I recall correctly) at the time the beer exchanged to being only like 40 cents per liter in dollars.

“Stick to sprots!”

“- We’ve only been to the playoffs three times since that 2010 Super Bowl despite having a generational talent at QB. We were knocked out in two of them by Tim Tebow and Blake Bortles.”

Half the teams are *still* operating at a loss. That’s with the NBA’s support, both direct & indirect.

“I think Matt Ryan’s overrated. You can’t tell me you win MVP two years ago, and then last year, you a complete bust, and you still got Julio Jones? There’s no way that should ever happen. I don’t care. You know what that tells me?...

I felt the exact same quitting facebook. Literally 99% of what I liked about it is on Instagram, and virtually none of what makes it a hellhole.

His diarrhea-of-the-mouth disease aside, I legit love Cam, but that fan was objectively insane. Rodgers at his best is also literally the position of QB at its best.

I like that it’s “REAL” Big Ben, but still has to add “74”. That’s pretty special.

It is one of Magary’s best quips ever.

I’ve had both rum and bourbon-based cocktails infused with tobacco. Not really my jam, but I’m not sorry I tried them.

1) You’re absolutely right.

You state homophobia is a huge part of the Nu Metal foundation, but that really involves a lot of selective sourcing. Linkin Park is the top selling band in the history of the genre (literally twice the total album sales of Limp Bizkit), and I’d challenge you to find a single song of theirs that can reasonably be
