I agree it’s overstated, but the “loser” of this match gets to be a favorite in both of the first two rounds, which is not likely the case for the winner. Also, the gap between Japan and Columbia is much smaller than that between either Sweden or Switzerland and F-ING BRAZIL.

Easily the best comment, in fact the only good one. The rest of them are so bad it’s hard to imagine how they got here. I can’t believe this article on Argentina could be carried this far with only one competent commenter.

Not a single word of this post is in favor of people who say mean things. They can be—and usually are—assholes. Nothing written by the author defends bullies or their behavior. I found the tacos weren’t really *that* much better than those one can find most places in the Southwest, but that some of the traditional dishes were, as you said, tear-inducing. I had several types of mole that I would kill a family-member for.

This is unquestionably correct. If you’re going to ignore one, women’s basketball is MUCH easier to skip. If women’s hoops is on there—which I have no problem with—then men’s and women’s MMA should both make the list too, as both are now bigger sports.
