I strongly disagree with this take. There is ZERO inherent laziness in wanting to dedicate your craft to children. There are probably some who might be drawn for that reason, but others sincerely want to make something that brings joy, comfort, or learning to boys and girls.

I’ve watched a lot of MMA for a long time, and there haven’t been many fighters I’ve found less pleasant than Rousey. I’m not saying she’s a terrible person like the actual criminals (drunk drivers, wife-beaters, etc.), but of the lower-tier bad people, she’s right in the running.

Absolutely. Perhaps not the one I would have chosen, but despicable is not an unfair word for it.

It wasn’t that he pressured her into meeting with El Chapo, but he recklessly pushed questions in directions that were objectively risky...with a guy responsible for literally thousands of deaths. Watch the documentary, it gets pretty tense.

It’s obviously a bad look, but I feel like the blowback is worse than the crime. Maybe I’m being too forgiving because his apology struck me as authentic, but it always amazes me how we get upset about the theatrics after a guy just took a brain-trauma-initiated nap.
