The predicted damage is assuming a normal assassin attack. The additional potential damage of a critical hit isn’t factored in, nor is the double damage of the Critical Assassination special ability, so you can potentially do more damage than what’s predicted if you get a good RNG roll.

Dividing the number of deaths by the number of cases does not result in a percentage. To convert to a percentage, you have to multiply by 100, which moves the decimal point to places to the right and results in the 6.9% noted by Yotsuba&Tochan.
