Saints Row 2 and 4 have some great comedy writing. SR3 is a bit hit or miss, but it’s got some nice beats that play well. The spin-off/reboot Agents of Mayhem had some nice comedy moments mixed into the general Saturday Morning Cartoon flavor. That said, AoM had, probably, the best example of why Volition’s jokes…

Millennium was shockingly good. The first and second season hold up remarkably well, which is pretty impressive because of how tied to pre-millennial anxiety. The third season’s more overt supernatural content turned it into a messier version of The X-Files, but, still, surprisingly good TV.

New Dawn was a pretty serious departure for Far Cry, and not for the better. It introduced an entire weapon tier system that just didn’t work.
