Yeah, but if they were expecting that at the Bethesda conference, they may not have been extremely confused.

They also rolled up the Star Wars LCG.
Oh, I know. No judgement here on that subject.
Warhammer 40k Inquisitor was a small scale tabletop game, where you’d control an Inquisitor and their personal retinue (usually about 3 to 5 models). So, that’s why the double subtitle here. It’s an adaptation of Inquisitor.
The “short version” is five paragraphs. I love 40k. :D
Used to edit his own Wikipedia page. No idea if he still does, though.
It’s true to who Buckley is as an ambulatory compost heap masquerading as an egotistical dumpster fire.
Yep. Also, don’t forget he used to edit his own Wikipedia entry. May still, come to think of it.
Yeah, the cartoon was substantially better. Not that that’s really saying much, but still. It had Kieth David voicing Spawn as I recall, and the character works better in an animated format, without dicey 90s CGI to ruin the visuals.
Yeah, Men in Black was a comic book adaptation. In some ways, the weird acid trip of the first film was probably the best superhero film of 1997.
If I can’t murder an annoying person mid-quest, it’s not an Elder Scrolls game.
Dilution is an incredibly difficult threshold to reach. For example, Google is at risk of this because, “googling” has become an accepted term for conduct a websearch.
I want to say XCOM 2: War of the Chosen. I haven’t exactly abandoned it, but I also haven’t gone back to finish it up yet. It wasn’t out of frustration, just kinda, got to a point and went, “well, yeah, I know what I’m doing now with the expansion.”
Yeah. The animated films were much closer to the comics, and really good. The live action films kinda pale a bit in comparison.
Dammit, now I want a version of Tommyknockers with talking robot heads.
He’s probably right about that, oddly. That said, I’m pretty sure there’s chapters in that book he doesn’t remember writing, because they just drop off the face of the earth and are completely irrelevant to the narrative as soon as they end.
Worth noting, The Rocketeer, in spite of its setting, was a comic from the mid to late 80s. That it blends in with the pulps it was channeling is fairly high praise, though.
Save states are a pretty good option to start with. RNG throws you something you don’t like? Reload. Want to take a break? Save and start where you were. Accidentally lose focus for a second, and waste days of work? Not a problem, just reload a previous state. The game will behave exactly how it’s supposed to, but the…
As I understand the issue, it’s basically a security issue. It’s far easier to splice together multiple runs or pass a tool assisted run off as genuine if you’re using an emulator.
The weird thing about Thedas for me was, it honestly soured pretty quickly. There’s a lot of stuff that struck me as very familiar from Warhammer Fantasy, to the point that it always felt like a bit of a pale copy of WHF and Forgotten Realms.
