Anyone watching Ashley and JPs wedding? So embarrassed that I'm watching. But hey, it's a Sunday night and I'm supposed to be studying for grad school finals.

Nope, been there 4 times before, although it still seems very foreign to me every time I go (we are born and bred New Yorkers). Still, I enjoy the fact that it feels like a true vacation every time I visit.

My parents just moved out there; I'll be there for 10 days starting on Friday. Cannot wait for the warm weather!

If I'm being good, I try and use a liquid eye makeup remover—you can use it sparingly so it'll last a long longer than those wipes. If I'm being lazy, I'll use vaseline or something like that. If I'm being super lazy, I just wash my face with my mascara on, and close my eyes and wash over my eyes too, and then rinse

bunching isn't necessarily bad, but make a small cuff at the bottom, which should eliminate that. And they also look really great with tights and a dress/skirt.

I also REALLY enjoyed this season. I think it went back to what Downton does best—dealing with shifting times and how they affect this small family, instead of Season 2 and trying to take on the war, while still dealing with family drama.

I also was totally going to give this a #cotd

Seriously, I had no idea. This explains sooooo much.

Thanks to this post, I've wasted my whole night listening to the Les Mis 25th Anniversary concert. Damn you! I had work to do!

First of all, don't be nervous. The first meeting is just a "get to know you", to talk about your reasons for seeking out therapy, talking about what your goals are, etc. Generally, you'll also try and figure out if the therapist is a match for you—not every single therapist is going to have the personality or style

Dude, I'm so in the same spot as you. Finals are starting this week and I'm nowhere near close to where I wanted to be in my studying. As cliche as it might be, go for a walk, play some pump up music, dance around (just get up and get moving), maybe treat yourself to a delicious coffee or something. This usually helps

Yeah, my mom orders from both of those and she too is afraid of anything "too clingy".

Not sure how much you want to spend, but you should consider Athleta or Title 9.

Aww thanks!

Thank you for that! I think I forgot about the real benefit of doing a show—the camaraderie. I'm relatively new to this city (less than a year) and it could be a great way to make friends with people I wouldn't have had the opportunity to meet. And if this really is my "return to the stage," then maybe this will just

Tried out for the Vagina Monologues this week on a total whim (found out about tryouts an hour before they were over, walked in and pretty much read cold). I just found out that while I did get a role, I didn't get one of the major monologues and I'm super bummed. I haven't done theater in years, but I used to love it

Unfortunately, it ends up being a long time—usually because a) you have to wait for the makeup of the court to change, which happens very slowly (and I'm not sure if any of the conservative justices are planning on retiring any time soon), and b) because courts are so hesitant to set common law and ignore precedent ,

I'm not really sure if this is good news or not. If the court rules in favor of same-sex marriage across the board, it'll obvious be a wonderful thing. If they rule that same-sex marriage is legal in California or New York only or give states the choice (a la Roe v. Wade), it could be good news but there will

Me too! ESPECIALLY in light of the fact that Dan Stevens might not come back; Season 3 was very Matthew-centric and the very last image of the season before the credits rolled promised such great Matthew things!

My company had theirs last night. I don't have a lot of friends at the office, so after standing around my colleagues' table for 10 minutes without having them ask me to sit down, I just left. I suppose I could have made more of an effort, but the music was too loud to try and have a nice conversation and the food was
