Two hiring anecdotes I totally believe:

Remember when Penn Gillette was shocked that people weren’t wearing masks out of Libertarian idealistic self preservation or whatnot? Yeah, I don’t know what dream state you live in, guy, but here in reality we know John Gault was an asshole.

Stein and Johnson alone took away enough votes from Hillary in 2016 to give Trump wins in a lot of the swing states because the margins were so thin. What some folks call being idealistic and voting with their conscience is just beyond me when a prick like Trump is involved.

Retail sales have remained steady through the pandemic precisely because people have money to spend. The more people who get to participate in discretionary spending = more money in the economy = more jobs.

And “liberals” that refused to vote for anyone but Bernie because they “had to stick to their beliefs”. Having your head up your own ass and ignoring what other people are going to have to deal with, that’s not a moral decision. It’s ego.
