I am in an extreme minority but I thought that Paul Schaffer was a delightful mess of a person to watch on TV and Letterman seemed endlessly amused by the little goblin. I miss that dynamic.

I like Conan and Colbert's music more. Fallon's musical sensibility doesn't do much for me. Colbert and Conan should start a country band and I'm not fucking around.

Word up.

Really? I feel like Colbert wears his heart on his fucking sleeve outside the context of his "Colbert" character.

John Oliver tried to ignore Trump and I got kinda resentful when he finally (and far too late) pulled that Drumpf stuff out.

I agree. At the end of the day she lives in the vague "business person" and "mean lady" demographic that goads Trump. She also is an insane person who basically tricks children oon feild trips into attending anti-abortion rallies which feels pretty Ted Cruz.

Eh, chuckling at your own joke is charming and infectious. Stewart used to do it all the time.

I agree. I love that world too. Even when it's kinda dumb it still works for me.

God. I missing reading these books and talking about them with my dad.

I dunno that Roland is much of a hero. Certainly a protagonist, but maybe not a hero.

I'm gonna wait until "Green Room v Deliverance: Dawn of Torment" comes out.

In the US this will be remade as "Irony vs Tweet Bait"

For me, too many of the companions get boiled down to being these perfect little spunky sidekicks. Donna was sort of a foil for the Doctor who is already such a Mary Sue sometimes. I have hopes that Bill will push the Doctor's buttons and bring out some of Capaldi's rage.

*shrug* I thought she was annoying, but I don't mind annoying characters either. Donna was my favorite companion.

I thought of Donna. Like Rose x Donna.

I just went and found the "ass" line. We just have different taste. I guess I hate the line so much I don't know how a person would deliver it.

I honestly think the bone-headed "max should have been more of the protagonist becuase his bame is max" bullshit would have been way WORSE if Mel was in it. People woulda been calling Furiosa "Poochy" and endlessly mocked the sharpshooting scene.

Maybe. Hopefully. I dunno.

It's about time someone made a show about a guy with a dark secret who is good at his job.

To be fair, BB was a big broad allegorical myth.
