I am probably a hipster fucker who doesn't watch those movies, but I believe you. I certainly vaguely remember it in 80s movies as a kid, but I've happily done a good job avoiding it.

That's what's so fucking frustrating about MRA types is you can't seem to explain to them that about 40% of their gripes are a result of the things they claim don't exist.

Every girl I knew through college joked about rape occasionally. Maybe, I just knew weird girls, but it was definitely a go to for "funny" girls. Like the female equivalent of a self depreciating tiny dick joke. I think it's natural to take the things that scare you and make jokes about them - even if it is tasteless.

I agree that rape culture is a problem and it is often trivialized for comedy's sake. I also think rape victims' are still met with a sense of being "finished" or asking for it - which I think is insidious and not on purpose.

As a straight guy I think he's one of the more attractive male actors.
