Not a huge surprise his favourite style did get some of the biggest changes to SC2 in HotS. Not to mention his great control would be quite impressive in MOBA's.

Forget about movies, why has no one written any books set in the Fallout universe?! I have to read plot summaries and such on the wikis just to get a fix.

Specifically because of the reasons you mentioned. Since Lanius has so little information and story in the game, it gives the film makers lots of room with which to develop his character. Also, it's often interesting to see things from the bad guys point of view.

This is a fan-film with the production value of a Hollywood film. Really good and entertaining stuff.
