My guess is cost. Theoretically smaller engines (less cylinders) is cheaper to make, and adding turbos is expensive. So I’m thinking it’s a cost balance game. When you make a turbo engine the engine internals have to be stronger (more cost) whereas most naturally aspirated vehicles don’t require/use as strong…

Electrified hyper luxury cars is one of the best use of electric power trains in my opinion. Coupled with an ICE or some type of alternative fuel cell and that sounds like a pretty awesome platform.
