I don't think they are engineering masterpieces. Any car that needs 4 turbos and 16 cylinders to do what others can with 6 cylinders and 2 turbos is an engineering failure

I don't like the prius. it gets marginally better fuel economy than a corolla but has an expensive time sensitive hybrid drivetrain to go wrong. the only thing they have going for them are the 4x4 models
