ive heard way too many people say this for it to be a coincidence. they really do suck. jeeps transcend all forms of rationality, dependability, and price. they exist in their own universe where interior quality, ride comfort and mpg are myths

sound symposers. they make the car sound loud to you but not everyone else. it doesnt attract racers or cops but rewards spirited driving. Note this all applies to real symposers like in the focus st where the sound comes from the engine. BMW does it through the speakers and can gtfo:

the supra stopped being sold in usa in 98 (it was in japan till 2002) the movie took place in 2001. I agree the F40 is a big stretch but a c6 Z06 is a very apt comparison to today. I wouldn’t laugh at a trashed z06 or even base model c6. Its still a fantastic car and guaranteed to have a v8

when I am paying big bucks on a full size truck/minivan/suv/cuv whatever this is I deserve a full sized engine not a little car mill. When I buy a corvette I deserve a v8. when I buy a lambo I deserve a v10/v12. the more money I spend the more engine I should get. very simple concept

strength, robustness, and reliability. a v-6 or v-8 will always be a stronger more durable powertrain under heavy load than a boosted 4 banger from a car

its not just power.....a turbo 4 will be much more strained making 250 than a v-6 will be making 280. its a truck so give it a real engine not an engine designed for a car. why do you think the competition is all v-6? which would you trust to tow a boat?
