Just drove Santa Cruz to Stinson Beach last week. On a Thursday afternoon, it's not too crowded, and in the Headlands area the drivers are pretty good about pulling out to let faster drivers pass.

Leave a lane open (far left/fast lane?) for those of us who are able (physically/mentally and vehicle-wise) to keep on driving. Some people/vehicles are quite able to motor around in these conditions.
