2007 Monte Carlo SS. V8 power FWD for the Canadian Winters. At first I thought about the 80s Monte Carlo SS because when I was born Mom had the Monte Carlo SS and Dad had the Berlinetta Camaro from the early eighties. Unfortunately the prices are a bit high around 15k-20k range. But then I remembered the V8 Monte

Love that PW7

Bought my 01 2wd v6 Single cab from Copart Last Fall. I needed a truck when I bought the house. It now hauls Coal, Mulch, Grass Clipping, Heavy Duty Leaf Springs, Stage Lighting Equipment...etc. Its been a good little truck. Two problems for me has been water leakage on the passenger side floor. Something with the AC

You sir are crazy.

Even though the pictures are using Moving lights The industry term for that is crowd blinders. While blinders are great every once and a while I feel that the Lighting Designer thought he was JJ Abrams with Lens Flare and used it a bit too much.

To Accommodate the tire and keep the bed functional I would put a swing arm style holder similar to the ones on the Blazers

“I want a long bed...so I can put a stupidly large tire in it”

Thinking about doing a cheap weekend at Belle Isle. 3 days $80 with pit pass, sounds good to me

I’m pretty sure David Tracy says that every time he finds a Jeep

I figured the Prangler, and the very early Jeep Truck with Ram Bed may have come the Auburn Hills line.

Taken right by the Henry Ford, Wondering if it was going to do some laps on the test track across the street.

So this is more of logistical question but I thought of it when I saw one of these driving around Troy Mi a few days before it came off the line in Toledo OH

I came here for this

2 things.

Even if it is meticulously maintained anything old with high mileage can have frame or uni body rot if it is in the north east or midwest. I once had a durango owner with 450000 miles at the shop I was working at. Yes the drivetrain, and braking system was fine but the vehicle had rotting body mount and frame mounts.

If you would be a Model T driver at Greenfield Village I would go every summer.

If it’s at copart as a salvage vehicle its there for a reason. I think in this case due to liability and cost to the insurance company they salvaged it. After reading other comments I thing the gluing to the frame rails may have scared them off.

You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em

I like David Tracy’s Idea, but you’ll have the same problem 3-5 years down the road. I have lived in PA and worked for a repair shop where we would have to condemn many Rangers, Dakotas, S10s, F-150s, and Wranglers for rotted out frames. Its a shame you can’t get a decent used truck or SUV for $15000.
