Yeah, Ford Trucks had a problem. My father in law’s early 80s f-150 was scrapped due to the rusty hangers destroying the frame rail. I am not sure if the more modern f-150s have the same issue.

Yes the boulder was way out of weight for this Ranger but you also have to take in the fact that Ford suspension rusts at an incredibly bad rate. I wonder with this incident if the hangers said, no more and fell off the truck.
