@recruitmethods: After spending thousands of dollars for tuition and housing costs, every other dollar counts. It's foolish to spend money on overpriced Micro$oft products when free products will do the job.

VOTE: Things for Mac/iPod Touch

I cut back to $15 basic a few years ago. Haven't missed all those channels I was overpaying for. When the monthly bill was in the $20-30 range I could overlook it, but when it started getting in the $50-60 range I called it quits. Their business model is broken.

I've got an old 1994 Saturn SL1 that runs like the Energizer Bunny. Everytime I have to put money into it (not to often) I stop and of how much it would be to replace it. Anything less than used will also have a whole new set of problems too.
