I feel like you’re the only person talking with any sense in this thread, including the arrogant idiot who made the OP.

There was an article just like that, that came out about Jian Ghomeshi post-revelations, written by a woman who worked in the Canadian indie music scene. The original article seems to have been taken down but you can read the whole text here:

the best

The point that nobody is saying it, is exactly the point. As The man in beige pointed out, any other story related to infidelity a significant number of Jezzies are in the comments section with their knives out. The restraint they are showing on this article would be welcomed elsewhere. That’s the point. I would think

Sorry for the delay, couldn’t write back sooner than now. I have no objection to Karan for anything that she has done up until now. I would like the same people who are being very open-minded with regards to her situation to pass that same consideration onto others dealing with infidelity who aren’t going public about

I don’t know how the grey/ungrey thing works around here, so I don’t know how to pull your comment out (if i have that power). As I say that, my reply will probably be in the greys as well.

I get what you’re trying to say. I’ve often said that I find the commentariat on Jezebel (not the articles themselves mind you) to have the same shrill self-righteous tone as pro-lifers when it comes to issues of fidelity.

Now playing

It might not be in California, but you still might want to rethink that bacon:

Also - just spoke to my sister who has a once-a-week cleaning lady who also agrees this idea of doing anything beyond basic tidying before they show up is madness. Like seriously, what are you paying them to do, if not to clean? It’s also worth noting that the reason they have a cleaning lady in the first place is

I understand “tidying” before the maid comes so as you mentioned they can do the “scrubbing/sweeping/wiping” but how does, as the original author mentioned, “vacuuming/dusting/polishing” come under that category? Like isn’t that actual cleaning at that point?

I live in Toronto but I’m originally from out east so I have a few people on my FB who moved out to AB to work in the oil and gas sector. This guy I made out with a few times in high school wrote me after I posted a bunch of schadenfreude Harper memes on FB.

The best. The rest of this comment thread is giving me so much joy right now.

Fellow Canadian, and I agree with the gist of what you are saying, (for the record, I voted NDP) especially regarding the strategic voting. I know a lot of ppl who voted Liberal as a result of this but not because they weren’t informed/Justin’s looks etc, but bc of the terrible way our system is set up and they wanted

Almost starred OP’s comment. So glad I waited bc THIS.

Your exactly right. It's the fear more than anything else. The more fearful they keep / make the population the more they can get away with and deflect the anger and outrage at our across to our neighbors instead of up where it belongs.

Still doesn’t cancel out the gross James Franco-rape scene she had in her show:

No problem. :) I’m always down for sharing info when I can.

Can’t figure out how to edit my previous comment at the moment so re-writing to add that National Geographic Data Points has some really interesting pieces as well (horrific purchasing by Rupert Murdoch aside...):

Agreed. I liked Lawless, RocknRolla, and Dark Knight Rises too. You also just made me flash back to Warrior and I had all the feelingz. I rewatched it recently and just fast forwarded through all of Joel Edgerton. Much improved.

Is it wrong how much I love this? Like this totally made my day. Thanks ladies. :)))))))))
