This is the most I’ve ever read about soccer, and I still only made it 2/3 of the way through the article.
The H! OMG I JUST NOW SEE IT!!!
This checks out.
I didn’t notice it until your post just now...
OMG...I grew up going to BR weekly, I currently live by a BR I drive by frequently, and I never noticed this before you pointed it out. I’m 40...
I get your first response, as I bit on this too. But, you have to realize now it’s a joke, right?
I mean, she was all but telling people to boycott advertisers, then walked it back when (probably) forced to do so. That doesn’t make ESPN right to suspend her, but I fail to see what is gained by framing what she wrote in a false light.
I mean, this is an online comment section, so I’m reading with my eyes and not my ears. Oh wait, pedantry is your thing? Sorry, didn’t mean to encroach on your turf, annoying internet person.
Ugly words? Ugh, I’m going to regret asking this, but in what way is “societal” an ugly word?
Don’t feel too bad, you’re not alone. It’s a 70-something white dad thing, which is still better than the 90-something white grandmom thing:
I was pretty happy when Fred Phelps finally died. I don’t feel bad about this at all.
Yes, we’ve gotten very far in race relations in this country by letting one race dictate the rules to another race, without allowing the other race to comment on their fairness.
Wow, it’s almost like I didn’t proofread a one sentence comment I wrote on the internet. IMAGINE THAT YOU LITTLE PEDANT!!!
You can sign up for CBS for free for 2 days (no ads) or 7 days (w/ads). I signed up, caught up on STD (hehe), then cancelled.
You’re all wrong on Dune, Battle Royale, Videodrome, Starship Troopers, and AI. Otherwise this list is solid. That is all.
Everyone seems to reward Starship Troopers for the movie it wanted to be and seem to ignore it for what it actually was. Everything it was trying to say about war was undone by bad acting, bad writing, and not-quite-right special effects.
It really was ham-fisted with what it had to say about societal classes.
I think we’d get along famously, though I didn’t like Dark City. I did like the Dune miniseries from the late 90s.
You...you shouldn’t be here.
