People are so weird. I had many people ask if I am Mexican (first of all, just because I'm your server doesn't make me available for personal questions) because I spoke (sad/broken/rudimentary) Spanish with my coworkers for whom it was a first language. Because, why else would a person speak anything but English?

So very sorry for your loss.

Mind. Blown.

I need those glasses.

It looks like a goth bumblebee curled up on his chin and fell asleep.

Haha, easy wheels ftw!

I remember bouncing around to that song, too, and being so awed by/jealous of her natural beauty and ridiculous talent. That voice was not of this world.

"Slightly bashful bigotry" is a great phrase. I'm picturing some dude blushing behind his white hood.

Can't help but offer you sympathy, random internet stranger though I am. So sorry for your friend and for you.

No shame in a hippy-dippy game if it's creating useful products that don't leave behind environmental hazards! :)

Haha, disgusting, indeed! That's an enviable ability.

Moran is one of my favorite comedians, too! If I'm feeling blue, I put in one of my "Black Books" dvd's and cackle away.

Love that costume!

I'm so jealous of people who got to experience her Tatyana in-house, even more so after reading your compelling description! It sounds like it was a moment when singer and role were perfectly matched. "Hypnotic" is the right word to describe her. "Charisma" falls short of describing the magnetism she has onstage!

I recall reading (or seeing in one of the Callas documentaries) that she looked to Hepburn for beauty and style inspiration. I also remember people talking about how during the later part of her weight loss campaign, she was on a liquid diet, and those around her begged her to eat. This might have been while she was

Your voice must be quite an instrument to be able to negotiate such a range of music. Also, you clearly have acting chops to spare. Brava!

I think that is another singer, Elina Garanca, in the same role (Octavian) as the singer being discussed here.

Oh, wow, you sang "Senza mamma." I first heard that one on a Leontyne Price greatest hits type of album and was nearly crushed by the sadness and beauty. I am impressed that you can sing that! (I've worked at "Sola, perduta, abbandonata," as I love that one, but so far, Puccini has defeated me!).

Best wishes to you in your career! I'm a *very* amateur singer and admire you pros who really have the technique, stage presence, acting chops, etc.
