I plan to buy it next. I also have an unfinished save for Ark of Napishtim on my PS2, and am now super-excited for the remake of Ys IV that is apparently coming to the Vita (and strongly implied to be making its way over to the US). I wish more of the Legend of Heroes series than just Trails in the Sky was available…
It's a very different sort of RPG, but I picked up Ys: Oath in Felghana post-Vita and was absolutely blown away. Most of the characters and enemies are modeled in sprites, and they're gorgeous.
I find it amusing that Owen Good continues to express his distaste for petitions, yet this is the second time in recent memory he has featured one in an article on Kotaku (the Dark Souls PC petition being the other).
Arguably, he's not looking far enough into it. He has his own opinion/agenda and he's only paying attention to the bits and pieces that support that view.
I... They're now at fault for publishing an article that does nothing more than state the victim's thoughts on what happened and who's to blame? Nowhere in this article do they do or write anything that attempts to make you feel one way or another, or "stoke the fire" as you said.
I... Pretty much fell in love with Miz due to this song.
The training sequence was brought back in Driver: San Francisco as a flashback mission of some kind (can't remember if it was an online pass bonus or not). Still amazing.
It's not that they don't enter into the equation, it's that this isn't an argument about whether the term "rape" makes male rape victims uncomfortable. Of course it does. The term, however, does not carry with it an undercurrent of fear in the male population. There is not a pervasive, male fear of of sexual…
... Funnest?
Or, I could just intuit that, as a practical call-sign of male-dominated culture, the phrase in question is almost exclusively used by heterosexual males. And, let's face it, which group is going to display less sensitivity toward the emotions and feelings of other groups: women who have only in the past century…
While the word "rape" has meanings outside of non-consensual sexual contact, the specific phrase "rape that [insert noun]" is definitely inspired by that meaning of the term. Let's face it: if the most creative you can get with your commentary is equating a dominant showing to overpowering someone sexually, you're: a)…
These are my favorite pieces of children's lit- *is shot*
I believe you're thinking of Luke Plunkett.
I clicked through to this and skipped the entire article, read no comments, specifically because I wanted to thank the editor/author of this piece for not putting the spoiler itself in the title. Thank you, thank you so very much for your discretion. You are an awesome dude or dudette (I also didn't check who wrote…
You're sort of conflating ethnicity and culture.
Ezio Auditore. Don't believe there's a "de" between the two. There's a "da" if you want to do the whole thing, though: Ezio Auditore da Firenze, but, like Leonardo da Vinci, it's just announcing his place of birth and not an actual part of his name.
Facebook still gives you the option of commenting to express your dissenting opinion. On the Vita, if this is the only means of expressing your opinion of a game for others, it's much more one-sided.
You would have to go in and cancel your pre-order at the old store, then make a new one at your new store. They can't generally do a transfer any other way.
X has no negative connotations? I dunno; hasn't the X symbol been used to represent "strikes" or "misses" in American game shows and whatnot for years?
