Sounds like a very funny story.

It looks like a Lincoln
It could also be possible that the owner lived a couple miles from work and just drove it to and from there most of the time. I have a car that’s had only 7,000 miles put on it since 2010, because I live in a small town. #notalllowmileagecars
No no, keep buying old cars with super low mileage, just stop paying ridiculous amounts of money for them.
I hope the dually 2-CV is dual engined too.
An Explorer can tow 6,000 lbs fine WITH a Weight Distributing Hitch and Anti sway. Exactly as stated by the manufacturer. It’s on you if you ignore or are ignorant of how to tow with your vehicle properly.
“when you’re pulling a 20+ foot trailer with a distributing hitch- do that in your VW and let it push you down a couple hills and then come back to see us.”
For Sale: 1983 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible
Great. You just gave the “stance” crowd a new idea.
My units are correct. I said it can tow those weights, as in it can tow a trailer of those weights. You are giving the gross combined vehicle weight rating, which includes the weight of the car and everything you can put in it plus the weight of the trailer.
Actually, I think we’re both right- silly tow standards.
Wrong units, the 928 could tow 1650kg and 3500kg respectively, that’s 7650 pounds max.
The trailer is full of gas, routed into the tank with an umbilical. So stop for gas every 50 miles.
Domo arigato mr. Tow mato
Tow Mater can tow a car from Radiator Springs to Tokyo, Japan. Pretty sure that’s as effective as it gets.
According to recent study by SennaMP4, a Miata can tow at least half of Miata
That’s a high bar. I’m not sure it’ll change your life, but it’ll keep you amused.
I will say, in the Showcase races I’ve been in all the cars have been period. For instance, when you race on the Nurburgring with new cars it’s all new cars (and even some older, slower classed cars you’re not racing against). When you race open GT cars you get open GT cars from roughly the same time period.
