These give you WAY more options, think a Wrangler/Gladiator that can be converted to perform a wide variety of jobs (like a work van). It’s like deciding between a Gladiator or a Ranger, there’s a market for both 

I don't think that meets rule 1 as adding a trailer doesn't change the primary purpose of the car it's attached to.

They count equally, neither are production vehicles. The GT wasn’t modified by Ford, so Ford as a company hasn't built a 300mph car

300 mph has already been broken in a street legal 2005 Ford GT, so this isn't anything new. They're just the first manufacturer to do it
