Maybe you can use common sense yourself and recognize that implementing plans to make smuggling weapons into school is not a bad idea. There’s no reason to put fashion over safety and I’m amazed why anyone would want to do so.

The “clear backpack” idea has been around a long time. This article is fairly recent but references earlier instances where schools adopted the rule.
