I seriously was just about to comment that "this show is going off the rails" too. For all the reasons you mentioned and also how sitcom-y everything is getting. I don't have many more eps left in me if this is what we are getting going forward.

I'm glad so many other people here defended this ep and the writing so I didn't have to stay up for an hour writing another version of the same. The reviewer is the one who is mistaken here by such a limited scope of what is OK to put into a show.

Tina is killing this show. There is a depth to every other character, even the women that Alex bring around are more realistic and complex than her.
