...so, who's looking forward to Dragon Quest XI? :D

I dunno man...I think it won't be long before I run dry!

Thanks mate! Sit down and have a nice milfshake.

Dukakis can Duka-kiss my ass! There's a new Ra-puns-el in town. >:D

Misery loves cumpany!

Oh cum on! What a redickulously stiff mom. She needs to loosen up, go get a facial or something.

Hah! draco, you're the last person I'd expect to do such a horrible, heinous thing. Owen's right—you really should be ashamed.

Gah, this looks sweet and I haven't even played any of the Persona games yet (though I love the SMT titles I have for DS). Recommend me which ones to play, now!

Of course. Anyone who's familiar with the original DotA knows that heroes are constantly being added, tweaked, and remade (although the pace has slowed over the last several months as Icefrog is no doubt focusing on Dota 2). He even said that he'll continue to support WC3 DotA after Dota 2's release, though to what

Earthquakes are to the east coast what snow is to the west coast. Same overreaction!

They should totally bring caning back. Like the Oliver Twist days!

Completely agree. Great post. :)

Heh, yeah, I feel ya. Can't help but think of HL3 whenever Valve is mentioned, but I'm glad they're branching out and expanding to different genres. Dota 2 is radically different from their usual FPS fare. Maybe we'll see a fantasy FPS (a la Heretic)? :D

To everyone wondering why Valve is hosting a tournament for game that hasn't been released yet: Dota 2 is essentially WarCraft 3's DotA with a new coat of paint. From what I've seen nearly all of the gameplay mechanics, heroes, spells, and items are the same. That means it's not a "whole new game", since DotA has been

Hah, I just recently started playing Mass Effect (I know, I know, I'm late), and while I'm really enjoying the story and characters, the combat is a bit tedious for me. The only shooter I play on a semi-regular basis is TF2, so it doesn't really fit my style. I'm still gonna finish it though—got ME2 lined up to go

I actually almost have to do this because the majority of the games I play are RPGs; if you stop playing for awhile, you totally forget your place in the game and what you were supposed to be doing. That happened to me a few times and I had to either consult a FAQ or—the horror!—restart the game.

I mostly play RPGs, which are arguably the most time-consuming games to finish, but I treat them like reading a book. I almost always finish the books I start reading unless they're really bad, but I can usually tell when that is if it doesn't grab me a couple chapters in.

This game is for fans of the original WarCraft 3 DotA, with a graphical rehaul and improved/added features. Since they're all free (well, free if you have WC3), you should try them all and see which one best fits your style.

Yeah, I did a bit of research on the game and it didn't impress me. Kudos for trying something different, but it was executed poorly.

Yeah, Gamestops nationwide held tournaments to celebrate the game's launch back in 2008. It was pretty cool, and the only game I've bought on launch day.
