Hey, men have boobs too. Moreso in America.

Thank you for this intelligent comment. I thought people learned that fashion does not equal identity after graduating high school, but perhaps I'm just optimistic.

Hipster is defined as "a person, especially during the 1950s, characterized by a particularly strong sense of alienation from most established social activities and relationships". However, it's also slang for "a person who is hip", which is the opposite of the above definition. I believe the latter is the definition

It's pretty ridiculous. I wear all kinds of clothing, it doesn't fall into one particular genre like a high school clique. If I want to wear a gaming T-shirt, I do. If I want to wear a nice button-up and a sports blazer, I do. If I want to wear a cardigan and knit cap, I do. I'm still the same person.

I have no idea what you're talking about. This isn't high school—your identity isn't tied to your fashion. There is no dialogue in the video, therefore it is impossible to judge their character. (Barring the extreme, for example if one dressed as Hitler.)

Hah, indeed. And as much as I love my fellow gamers, I'd rather be dressed in American Apparel than a Halo T-shirt and oversized cargo shorts. ;)

What is with all the hate on "hipsters"? The people in the video aren't hipsters to begin with. Hipster is not a fashion genre.

Definitely. Since I live in southern California, it shouldn't be too hard to find one. ;)

Seven years ago? Good gravy, old man. That's pretty sweet that you saw them, though. I might go to a convention someday—I'm not super into anime, but I really like a lot of the music that comes out of it. JRock, well, rocks.

Very cool! Where did you see them live?

I really dig ABS. Their style is undeniably rock, but also uniquely Japanese—Nishikawa's vocals take most of the credit for that. Also helps that their musicianship and production is incredibly slick. Would love to see them live someday!

I'm a little disappointed you didn't throw TAO in there—it's the song that got me into Do As Infinity. Any pop rock band that uses piano automatically wins points in my book. She's not as good as YUI or Younha, but still good stuff!

If anyone would like to watch MLG StarCraft II, here's a site that features both streams simultaneously, and allows on-the-fly switching between them:

You can watch both streams simultaneously here:

Hey, I've heard about that title! I just didn't know if it had ever been released in NA. Thanks for the tip, will be checking it out!

I've played the hell out of my DS Lite (still do), and out of the numerous games I've purchased on the system, there are two series that I still play, after several years, on a consistent basis:

Yeah, that thing's awesome. Squaresoft (back when it was Squaresoft) had a similar thing.

Indeed. Plus, Smash Bros. is a fighter—meaning that every character brings a unique fighting style and aesthetic to the table (curse you, Captain Falcon/Ganondorf!). In a racing game, regardless of your appearance, you're still really doing one thing—racing a cart. That doesn't really bring out the unique attributes

The show is kind of like Saturday Night Live on steroids. Short, random, crazy skits.

Commander Keen! Classic stuff. I was able to play both Carmen Sandiego and Math Blaster at school, along with some other goodies—like SuperSolvers Outnumbered! and Number Munchers. Good times...the Carmen Sandiego TV show was pretty bomb as well.
