Urg, I hate straddling the line between being a "good" player and a "pro" player. It's all gravy up until the "good" point, where you're familiar with the game and can generally accomplish what you set out to do with reasonable proficiency. But then, you hit the wall—and realize you can't improve beyond your current

@dathascome: Oh, but is it always to "show off and get attention"? Some people cosplay for their own pleasure and entertainment, or with a select group of friends. You can't generalize such a varied group of people.

@Clixx13: My thoughts exactly. Sure, cosplayers expect some attention from convention attendees and passerby, but this is just ridiculous. I guess I'm not surprised that it's Japan, though—definitely not the first time we've seen something like this.

@BleedingThumbsMurphy: If she saw a mob of 100 rabid photographers coming, I don't think she would have even bothered. Regardless of how she's dressed, that's just an extremely rude thing to do, and a very unfortunate situation for her.

@ClaudioIphigenia: "Pick a different costume"? I don't think that's fair since there is a good amount of cosplay, both male and female, that exposes a fair bit of skin. Her outfit isn't even particularly scandalous—you'd see a lot more flesh at a beach or swimming pool. I think rabid photographers need to back off and

@TRT-X: Sadly, I'd have to agree. I've seen my fair share of Kotakuites that go against the whole "sex-depraved nerd" stereotype, and conversely, those that fit right into it and parade around in it like a hippo in a mud-bank.

@PatMan33: I don't know about the guy that might also suck, but I believe you do not suck quite as much as you might think.

@fanboyps3: Using periods would help you immensely.

@The Sentient Meat: Ouch! Even if they round down to $250, I probably won't buy it for awhile. Plenty of other games and consoles to keep me entertained while the 3DS library gets built up. Win-win!

This week's Brawl in the Family is a four-part series, so read it at the website. In the meantime, here's a random comic showcasing the goods!

@Chestnut Bowl: Hey, who are you to tell me what I can and can't say? Confederate scum, no doubt!

@Walking Eye!: Hmmm...y'know, I can kinda see the resemblance!

This was a cool article. Made me think about and learn...stuff.

@Walking Eye!: Doesn't SC2 take place in the future? And...well, in an alternate reality where aliens such as the zerg and protoss exist?

@Curiously Flamboyant Sheep: "Hey, kids! Kirby has a very important lesson for you today, so gather 'round, and get ready to suck and blow!"
