@FuriouslyLogical: I don't consider 100 gas to be "cheap", but for 50 minerals marines sure are, and with stim and medivac support they pick off mutas like nothing. :)

@rolsenrob: I don't follow you. The two build orders I listed above are counters to common (if not a bit cheesy) openers. Do you know of any other way toss can deal with early reapers? 6pool zerg? I'd love to hear them.

@AngryLagomorph: That would depend on what your opponent is getting. Immortals do great damage against marauders but they can be kited with stim (charge rectifies this) and are obviously useless against air units, as are colossi.

Great, it was bad enough that I was forced to open cyber core to quick stalker against every terran, but now I'll probably be forced to play 10gate quick zealot against every zerg. :(

@Peanut The Kidnapper: Urg, I agree. On 4-player maps scouting can be all about luck placement—if he scouts you first, you might be overrun before you can say "for tassadar!"

@Pandaren117: Gee, you make it sound so easy. Ever been marauder rushed? It ain't pretty.

@Umbra: What do you mean? If you're referring to a cannon rush, there are legitimate ways of dealing with them (scouting is key). I find reaper/bunker rushes from terrans far more annoying and harder to deal with.

@Jandau: That would definitely be swell, and I don't even play zerg.

@Gramma42ton: The problem is the maps. There's a lot of abusable high ground and the lanes are often narrow. That makes it harder for zerg players to flank and get the jump/pincer on terrans.
