I hate paying for quality! That's why I eat at McDonald's erryday.

@Bawb3: I could never watch The Lord of the Rings in quite the same way again.

@domhnall: You are fizz-ollowed, foo. Keep it real

@domhnall: Word. Now please excuse me while I go spank some hos.

@Koztah: Indeed. Well, people are douches—since ancient history. ;)

@stambo8: Ah, thank you for clearing that up.

@stambo8: No, I'm reading all that you've written and apparently misunderstood what you were trying to say. When you said "it takes a great deal of money to correct a crappy one", I assumed that you were referring to SC1 as a crappy game and SC2 as the "correction".

@stambo8: Really? I'd love to see some statistics about actors. And not just movie actors, but TV actors too. Charlie Sheen, for example, makes $1.78 million per episode of Two and a Half Men. That's a twenty-minute episode, by the way.

@domhnall: That, and the current generation that just says "whatever" to anything important and spends their time on facebook and their iPhones. ;)

@Gameslaya: Whoa, whoa, waitaminute. Over two hours? I'm not sure we're playing the same game.

@burninfidels: I like innovation, but only when it's done right—not for its own sake. I'd rather play something that's familiar but polished versus a new mechanic that's horribly imbalanced, awkward, and gimmicky.

@jayntampa: Some people enjoy robust competition, but you're right, some do take it too seriously.

@illiniphase4: While that is true, WarCraft in turn took elements from the original StarCraft as well (for example, the undead's blight is very similar in function to the zerg's creep).

@mousearmy: Indeed. Dare I say they are still light-years away? Keep in mind that some of the most overpaid people on the planet, such as movie stars and professional athletes, get paid millions of dollars a year—and that's just to one individual. Blizzard still has to recoup its development costs in addition to

@Gameslaya: It's such a big difference between RTS and TBS (turn-based strategy) like the Civilization games. In TBS you can take all the time you need to plan your next moves, many many turns ahead. There's a bit of waiting time while things are being built or developed.

@foofed: StarCraft was the best-selling PC game the year it was released, and to date I believe they've seen about 10 million in sales (although I think half of that is from South Korea).

@burninfidels: To be fair, as time passes and games become more advanced and mainstream, it becomes harder and harder to "innovate".

@chillychili: Basically he came down and said, "Hey guys, you're so busy being legalistic douchebags you've completely missed the point." People read and interpret the Bible differently, but I'd say most Christians consider the old testament law "ancient history", as they say.
